Have You Ever Lost an Hour to a Scroll?
You sit down to relax for a few minutes, open an app, and suddenly, an hour has disappeared into a blur of mindless scrolling. You look up feeling foggy, drained, and guilty about the time you've lost.
We've all been there. In a world where modern apps are designed to create a hypnotic "cycle of mindless scrolling," it's easy to feel like you've lost control of your own time and attention.
At Paced, we believe you can take that control back.

A Bridge, Not a Wall
Our core philosophy is simple: Paced is a compassionate and supportive tool, not a punitive one.
We believe the best way to change a habit isn't with brute force, but with a gentle nudge in a better direction. This is our Dual-Value Proposition:
Paced helps you manage a negative habit (mindless scrolling) while helping you create a positive one (mindful movement).
It works by acting as a "pattern interrupt" to the hypnotic scroll, giving you a choice and a clear path to a better habit. It's a bridge that allows you to enjoy your apps intentionally, then guides you toward the real-world reward of a mindful break.
A Founder on a Mission
Hi, I'm Rhonda Lavoie, the founder of Paced. For years, most people have known me as a Top Producer in real estate here in Saskatoon—a career built on execution, systems, and a relentless drive to get things done.
But a few years ago, I realized that while I was helping my clients find their perfect homes, I was losing connection to my own life. The "lost hour" to the mindless scroll was becoming a daily occurrence, leaving me feeling drained and unfocused .
This struggle became a central theme of my personal journey and my podcast, "The Rhonda Lavoie Podcast," where I explore the systems and mindsets needed for a more intentional life. But I realized that for this specific problem, talking wasn't enough. I needed a tool.
I looked for solutions, but most screen time apps felt like punitive blockers—they felt like a punishment. I didn't want to build a wall between me and my phone; I wanted to build a healthier relationship with it.
So, I decided to build the solution myself. I'm applying the same logical, systems-focused mindset I used as an SAP Business Analyst and the same "get it done" drive that made me a top real estate agent to solve this problem for myself, and for millions of others.
This revision positions the podcast as a key part of your expertise, which makes your decision to build Paced feel even more inevitable and well-researched.
